Watch all of the debris -- the medium is being consumed; however, most items (including the red marker) remain in orbit without getting sucked in. Most of the tiny bits are in perfect stable circular orbits while the large marker has unstable orbit while close in but is eventually throw out. This answers so many questions -- i'll spend more time on this later -- right now I have to leave early for JOB -- busy week ahead but long weekend after that.
