Learning how to use the camera under non-ideal conditions is always advantageous.  The pictures were taken with a telephoto lens @F5 with 20 second exposure time.   You can see the paths that some individuals take as a series of blinks.


Also, you may see what appears to be red and blue fire flies (Lightning bugs); however, these are bad pixels in my CCD imager -- the red and blue pixels appear in each photo in the same place.


Also, these pictures were taken in pitch dark, in some of the photos, the sky is illuminated by heat lightning (Not sure of the proper term, but it is flashes at night without any thunder or rain, with partial clouds, usually occurring after very hot days ) which make the scene appear if it were just after sunset.
