Siglent Spectrum Analyzer Arrives today

Unfortunately, it requires a signature.  Because I live in the country, the delivery driver does not wait (he has to drive miles between deliveries).  So I'm going to waste the day by working in the Garage so I can be there when it arrives to sign for it.  Otherwise I may have to drive three hours to pick it up.  (UPS has stopped their live delivery map, So I no longer have any idea where the truck is).

This reminds of the movie "Funny Farm" (see clip) where Chevy Chase, a New York City sports writer,  buys a home in the country to get away from the city to write a book.  One of the gags in the movie is that the mail man does not stop and just throws the mail out the window as he passes by.   This move is hysterical, especially to those that have made the transition to country living.  In later scenes, Chevy, spends time trying to catch the mail man just like the Cayote trying to catch the road runner.

One of the funny things that I experienced moving to the country is that there was only one traffic light in the entire county ( for those not familiar, a county is a collection of citys/towns that share resources together -- like schools).  When I would ask for directions, they would always begin " Go west on route xxx from the traffic light...."
